Remember Lepanto!
The Internet is a wonderful thing - I got an email that led me to this site, where the Battle of Lepanto is commemorated, as well as all sorts of good stuff - check out Tradition in Action: "committed to defend the perennial Magisterium of Holy Mother Church and Catholic traditions. TIA also works for a restoration of Christian civilization, adapted to contemporary historical circumstances." Inspiring even for a non-Catholic like me!

Yes, inspiring. Especially the part where they reaffirm the error of all non-Catholic Christians - for example, here:

No More Ecumenism

As another non-Catholic, I question whether TIA deserves this praise.

Wait, that didn't work. The article is under Hot Topics on the site - Ecumenism - Crisis in Ecumenism - No More Ecumenism, say Baptists.

Well, the articles on the main TIA site seem to be fairly eclectic and several titles being provocative, notably, " The swan's song of Galileo's myth-Atila S. GuimarĂ£es shows why Galileo's condemnation was just." I am really looking forward to having a look at that one.

The portion on the Battle of Lepanto is quite well done. We annually have a service and discussion on the annivarsary. However, owing to anti-firearms regulations in the District of Columbia, our arquebusiers are forbidden the celebratory discharges customary to the season.

How about a 1st A challenge on Free Exercise grounds to the District's anti-church prohibition of arquebusier discharge?
